Want a new coat. Was looking alon the lines of mountain equipment tupilak. Would love that kalanka with the new stretchy gore tex but wont be stretching the budget that far!

I want underarm zips and goretex pro shell.

It needs to keep me good and dry in a downpour wont really be wearing it climbing or that as i dont want to damage it. 

Doesnt need to be long as ive good trousers.

Would spend in around 150 or so on it.

 Any good deals out there? 

Thats going to have to be a good deal Pro shell in the sort of jacket you're thinking of is basically roughly to 300 rrp.

Plenty of extremely good jackets in Event (or active shell, or a few own brand fabrics for that matter) for somewhat less and I really would consider them too.

Oh the stretch pro shell doesn't really stretch. Its a rather gentle thing, for which the premium is a tiny bit silly!

adidas have been getting good reviews with their outdoor gear, they've thrown a lot of resources at designing their gear, using feedback from outdoors professionals to refine their designs.

whther they are as well thought out as more longstanding outdoors gear companies who have been tweaking their products for years or decades is another thing,

think im going to hold out for a while, theres a haglofs sale upcoming on sport pursuit so ill see if i can pick up something decent there.

 if not i think i might bite the bullet and try that addidas one, got a good review in tgo with the price letting it down, but for half price that aint a problem!

right ive narrowed it down to an me kongur or tupilak or tupilak II

 Not sure if theres a difference in the tupilak jackets other than colours.

Anyone any experience of above jackets?
