Ismail, (That isn't a very Japanese sounding name.) Why don't you sell these to people in Japan and keep all that postage charge you would pay for Sushi and Sake?
|
 |
Hey Simon, I'm not so fluent in Japanese and don't know any forums here to sell at Besides I'm already stuffed with sushi and sake and could use some workout (read: walk) to postal office shipping these things

Nice reply Ismail, I like you already! People are wary of new members on the site looking to sell things with no (or little) history. Being so far away probably adds even more chance that you might be viewed suspiciously. That said you obviously have a good sense of humour and that helps in most situations (except funerals apparently).

Thanks for the reception Simon, Big apologies if a newbie like me rushing to sell things here

Hi Neville, It is one of newly established USA cottage manufacturer so chances are big that many haven't heard of it. However the craftmanship is excellent, if you google "Tim Marshall quilt" you'll find people rave the quilts he made. I decided to sell this because someone gave his quilt to me... I am sure I ordered the slim one. I have 98cm chest (38.5"), tried this quilt while wearing a Montane AntiFreeze-class down jacket and it fit just fine without compressing the jacket.

Neville, Enlightened Equipment have a good reputation over on BPL in the States. See this and this. Edited to add: Ismail may be new here, but he has posted many times on the BPL forum.

Ismail, William, Thanks for the updates. Looks like a nice bit of kit but will be too small unfortunately, I was inquiring for a friend who would need the 78" length and either Reg or Wide width.
