About ten years ago in Tunbridge Wells, in a novelty gift shop, I bought two pieces of chalky coloured milk quartz packaged up together, that similarly if you rub or bang together you get a white glow or a flash in the dark. Why it does this I do not know! Why I wanted to buy that I don't know either, but I did do!
