Yes, it's quite an open structure fleece. ThermalPro (fluffy variety) is even less windproof...

I posted something similar on UKC ealier today, but discussing how fleece density also affects whether a fleece will wick, or whether water will drain from it.
Some of the cheaper, more felted fleeces are also more wind resistant.
Yes I know it's Regatta and probably not trendy, but doesnt bother me, as soon as I tried it on I had to have it, medium a great fit all round, and so, so warm.
It was £24.50, but it had a slight mark on the shoulder, which they knocked £2 off. I rubbed the mark off while paying!
Just went for a short walk in it, quite a cold wind out, and it is pretty wind resistant I have to say!
I also bought some Craghoppers lined trousers from there for £24.95 too, so pretty pleased all round!

I remember a friend getting a tighter weave version of polartec 100 (100m - think it was called) in the early 1990's for that reason.
