Very nice Shewie. Two questions: do you know what temperature it was and what is your new camera?

Not sure how cold it was this time Simon, on the Saturday morning I had ice on the inside of the Trailstar and my water bottle was frozen.

The new camera is a Lumix FS35, early thoughts are it's a pile of junk compared to my old Sony 7mp.

I'm going in a couple of weeks time and have ordered a min/max thermometer from play.com so I can be sure just how cold it gets (this is to help me acsertain what my gear is capable of as much as anything else).

I have a Sony Cybershot DSC T99, which is my 4th camera of this type (I had the DSC T1, T3 & T77).

I also have a Sony Nex 5 but I haven't decided if I will take it camping yet.  The thing is the pictures it takes are far superior to those of the T99.
