Pocket stove looks good. Bit like Nimblewill Nomads stove. The Nomad stove is quite easily made if you can get the right metal, and have a bit of kit; it has an open end so you can put longer twigs in and then just push them along as they burn.

Get a cutlery rack from Ikea or wilkinsons. The stainless steel one and make a hobo stove out of it. Simple case of cutting through the side to allow wood to be added then use Ti candy canes to hold a smaller pot or the walls to hold a larger pot. Quite light and all you really need. Costs about £2 or so if you are lucky finding one that cheap. There are plenty of "how to" guides on making one online.

BTW I think BPL-Uk are looking into Ti honey stoves and pocket stoves. Also another two stoves are close to being finished (the final prototypes are being made and due shortly I believe). That is what I have read on other sites. Should be a good thing the Ti stoves and I have no idea what the two new stoves are.

I have graduated to the Backcountry Boiler and am a big fan. Bit heavier than some woodstoves but overcomes the sooty pan issue; not that cannot be managed with poly bags. The BB is also easier to stoke as it is somehow easier to add twigs down the chimney than pushing them into the side of the other stoves.

Big down side of the BB is the cost against the above mentioned stoves.
