Frum, Jiffy's commentary didn't spoil it for me, Frum, I enjoyed the game in spite of his commentary. Anyway, second guessing every move that dosen't end in a try or a forced penalty isn't proper commentary, is it? I commend the lack of your customary English arrogance in your last post. I don't want to answer your question.

Tony, when was the last time you attended a football match at Swansea or Cardiff. I assure you there is passion aplenty at Cardiff City stadium or the Liberty stadium when the home teams are playing there.

As an ex front five man I like Brian Moore. I particularly liked him, on the radio this morning, quoting Jake White that the main job of an international manager is to get the selection right. Stuart Lancaster has done that as has Warren Gatland. I think St Andre certainly got it wrong given French dominance of European rugby. Scotland and Italy do not have great resources for selection. I am puzzled about Ireland, I've never seen an International pack so comprehensively out scrummaged. Whilst England have done well I don't think England have the cutting edge in midfield, their best centre breaks have been made by Tom Croft. P.S I think Rolland again had a poor match.

Nick, where in the front five - a donkey or a member of the intelligentsia?

An awful confession for a Welshman, this, I like Brian Moore, too. I especially like him when EdBut has wound him up and let him go.

All I can say is the second row shoving behind me said I had the boniest arse he'd come across.

I like Brian too. I just though many of his technical descriptions of what was happening in the scrums today would have been too complicated for much of his audience today, who would have thought he was going on too much about it. Persdonally I enjoyed it. All I can say is the second row shoving behind me said I had the boniest arse he'd come across. Ah, the intelligentsia. Prop or hooker?

A lightweight tight head.

Oh dear! Early indications following an MRI scan is that Sam Warburton's shoulder injury did not cause muscular damage, it seems to have caused nerve damage. That's potentially very bad news for Sam. Here's hoping that it won't be permanent.

Last month. (on duty) The "passion" that you mention in soccer is very parochial in nature. When Wembley was being rebuilt and we had the FA play offs in the MS, I was on duty for a number of them and couldn't get over the fact that both sets of supporters had to be segregated and when the match was over, the one half of the stadium emptied within 2 minutes of the final whistle and the presentations were made in front of the winning fans only. Contrast that to Saturday when the stadium was still full 20 minutes after the final whistle. Rugby is a "NATIONAL" passion and draws in many people who have no real interest in the sport, and I do realise that it is a South Walean sport, but it does capture the heart of the WHOLE nation, which is the difference! Frum, I did say "some," and in the main I refer to Inverdale, Healey, dalaglio and some others. Pitbull is GREAT and him and and Eddie are a very entertaining team, I also have a lot of respect for Guscott, but I HATE Jiffy with a vengeance! I do wish they would stop the practice of having commentators working on their own nation's games! (with the exception of Pitbull of course!)

Good points, Tony, nevertheless, football matches are far better attended and the passion, parochial or not, is very real. Healey isn't so bad, Guscott is a Wales groupie and Jiffy is a gatling gob. I think you'll agree that almost every Welshman hates Pratt Dawson and as for Dallaglio, he's a real scapegrace. He could hardly raise a well done for Wales, he hated the fact that they won the grand slam and it showed. There's healthy competitiveness and there's bitter resentment, he showed the latter in spades. I think Gabby Logan should be given Inverdale's job.

If you think Pitbull gets wound up by Eddie Butler you ought to have heard him having a go at the guy [name forgotten] trying to co-ordinate Talksports coverage of the World Cup, Radio to treasure!!

He is an entertaining, and knowledgeable, character. He does outrage very well, too.
