hi all, can any body recomend a sleeping bag a two year measuring 80cm long( and growing) would find comfortable.
looking at camping untill the end of september so a rating down to zero would be a benefit just in case it got to chilly.
2 i've seen for sale are Vango nightstar 400 and the Coleman chestnut extendable.are they any good?
many thanks

I don't know if they stock them in the U.K shop (London), But in New Zealand you can can a bag from Kathmandu called a Kid's Pipsqueak. It has a 2 season rating but would probably only cost about 30 pound ($89.90 NZD)

The Vango one[ if its the purple one I'm thinking of] is good, my nephew [4] loves his and never complains of cold.

My lad used one of the Eurohike Juniors (until he grew out of it), and was always very comfy with it. His was perhaps not suitable for the time of year you're contemplating, though. From experience, Vango bags in general are always pretty reliable.

Im just after buying a Billy the Kid sleeping bag which is made by Jack Wolfskin. Its a season 3 and is top quality, although Ive not had a chance for my son to test it. You can buy then wwwcotswoldoutdoor.com and they are reduced from £50 to £20.

I think Jack Wolfskin do one which you can add to the length. I personally went for a Nitestar 300 Midi for my 3 year old and 6 year old and they love them !

Had to get a bit more of a technical bag for my 6 year old when he started backpacking with me as given the fact that I was carrying all the gear and his bag weighed twice as much as mine it seamed a bit stupid.

Cheers
