By popular demand we're introducing the first OM Annual Reader Awards, the best of everything chosen by the OM membership by popular vote.

Because we're vaguely democratic, we thought it was only right that you lot had a big say in both the categories and nominations. Provisionally we're looking at as many categories as we feel like, with around four nominations in each category. But let's start with the categories.

You're not limited to gear btw, so 'best outdoors caff', 'best campsite', best youth hostel, favourite online retailer etc are all up for dibs as well.

We're also working on some sort of stupendously exciting commemorative thing for the winners.
