We have two Kendal Mountain Film Festival posters signed by Yvon Chouinard which we're auctioning to raise money for a good cause.
Submit a bid on the thread here and the highest offers by 4 pm this Friday 3 December win. The money raised will go towards buying a goat or goats from Oxfam in the name of Yvon Chouinard. So what are you waiting for? Get bidding.

will yvon be pleased to hear someone named a goat after him ;)
Absolutely certain of it! Patagonia is all in favour of sustainable agriculture and according to Oxfam, a goat is 'a living bank'.
So... who's putting the first bid on the kid then :-)
 2p
 2p? Steady on, Dave...
 Ten quid :-)
£11 it's a good cause can I eat the goat when it dies?
You'll have to ask Yvon about that. I think it's recyclable anyway.
£12. I ended years of veggie-dom with a bowl of baby goat stew...
It'd be a bit sad if you didn't get enough for even one goat for charitable causes. £25.
I'll have a goat - put me down for £25
£30, but I am not sure about the goat being called Yvon... it may need to be compensated somehow.
I hope that all the money for goats will be collected so Yvon can potentially have a flock of goats! Put me down for £25 I want to buy a goat since Patagonia is such great gear and one of the earliest companies to be really strong on recycling.

Just in case it's a bit ambiguous, we have two posters signed by Chouinard to auction off. The two highest bidders by the end of the week get the posters and we'll use the proceeds to 'buy' an Oxfam goat and send a card to Yvon letting him know.
Obviously you can always buy a goat yourself, even if you don't put in one of the highest bids. Hope that makes sense, sorry for any confusion :-)

 £35.
I'll be able to have a "Bicycle for a Health Visitor", not a goat, for that much :o)
Superb design on the poster anyway
£31 But I reckon outdoorsmagic should be framing the thing for that - even if it is a good cause...
The design is cracking and the poster is very lovely (no obvious fruit damage). They're printed on decent paper and should look good framed.
Anyone at Kendal btw?
Still lots of time to go, highest bids so far are £35 and £31.
Fraser, you've obviously not had owt framed recently, not cheap :-)
Come on you guys must be rolling in it...
You dot commas all drive range rovers and live in mansions - don't ya?
 Fraser - I've seen Jon's car...'nuff said lol.
Err the peeps on here don't "own" Om....
