Have a great one folks - I'll be roaming the South Pennines over the next few days so if you see me stop me and buy me one!

Have a restive festive break and hope 2005 is as good for you as 2004 was for me!

Cheers John - enjoy the Pennines. I appear to be in, erm, London for a couple of days. Aaaargh... Not sure how that happened, but I reckon it's reversible :-)

Ta for the invite, at the moment I have vague designs on Scotland, where it's snowing proper right now, but you never know...

Slush in Glasgae matey but Cameron's fled early as there's blizzards on Drumochter and he doesn't want to have to spend Christmas Eve alone in Blair Atholl!

Snowdon for NY sounds great; just maybe…

Great feature on Snowdon coming in the March issue by the way.

Season's Greetings from me too. & all the best for 2005.

Been snowing on and off all day here in Strathspey, which makes up for the just about complete thaw at all levels two days ago.

Just made it home to Newtonmore! Heavy snow in Pitlochry/Blair Atholl but not so much north of Drumochter. Feels like it's going to get really cold to-night and it might snow again - the sky looks leaden! All very Christmassy...
Best wishes and Seasonal Greetings to all OM'ers, wherever you may be. I'll be on the hills several days next week so if you see me please say hello - you might even win a prize!!!

Have a great one Chris and Cameron, and we all look forward to a new year reading how lucky you are to be up there in the land of real mountains and snow :) If you bump into people on the hills doing weird handshakes and lifting trouser legs............don't worry they're not Masons they're just OMers doing the Otter and Badger handshake :)

Wow! A white Christmas!

Spent Boxing Day tramping the white stuff between Haworth and Hebden Bridge - enjoyed my first legit taste of freedom to roam too, swinging off from the Pennine Way to a point above Alcomden Stones where we had a terrific view of the Three Peaks covered in snow, along with the Wharfedale hills. But spent too long in the Ridge enjoying real beer and got into Hebden Bridge a few hours after darkness. Who's complaining!

Then Monday nipped up Nutclough and on to Hoof Stones height before dropping back down Crimsworth Dean (slipped into the beck taking photos!) and back down by Hebden Water into Hebden Bridge. More white stuff, a little grey stuff, then a little wet stuff. More ales. And Bradford curries! A near-perfect break!

Oh what fun it is to be back behind me desk.

Not…

Fraid not - I'd love to be out there but I'm stuck in Glasgow!

Have a great New Year and hope you don't freeze to your ThermaRests!
