Artificial Beach And Hotel For Llanberis Quarries!
The beach and hotel are just part of a planned artificial mega-snow dome development in the quarries above the quiet Snowdonian climbing town, has the world gone nuts?

I heard that they were going to turn it upside down and plant daffodils in it -

of course! They could be linked - St David's Day and all that....fiendish plan Professor.

Jeanniie, keep takin the medication, and send some to the idiots who thought up this scheme (note the subtle way of keeping somewhere near the original subject of the thread, but I know it'll degenerate into something connected with sheep as soon as that Ford chap notices it)

OF COURSE turn it into a sheep shelter for all the wet fluffy welsh woollys in the colder months.

pass me coat an I'll leave quietly,
p.s. who moved this thread to where it should've been in the first place?

I have noticed in the past that if you start a thread that's related from a news article that it automatically plants itself in the gear forum. Don't make sense, do it?
Then somebody comes along and must say 'why has this berk written about Llanberis or the Kinder Trespass Leader in the gear forum? I'll move it.'
All done to make us know what our place is, maybe.

I know where my place is. I'll go back in my sheepfold now.
