Has anyone else downloaded the Munro list from the Trail website. It lists the Munro, the OS map, summit Grid Reference, comments and rating. With a great little space to write in the date when you have done it.
Mine's on my fridge! Worth a look me thinks!

Even sadder that the munro list I have the munro map up on my study wall, with colour coded pins determining any given hills status. A red pin means a hill my wife has done but I haven't, a blue pin means one that I've done and she hasn't, and black pins are those we've both done!

You get a free poster map of the munros with tick boxes when you order the free walk-Scotland guide from the visitscotland website. Ive also downloaded the trail list and the memory map overlay.
The most shameful thing is that i've only got round to doing 1 munro (Ben Vorlich) and thats the one my mother live at the foot of. Ive been fitness training for the last year so I plan on doing them all though when I move back to Scotland.

'Haven't done any and probably never will' well that's your loss. The best walking in the UK is definitely in Scotland, and it beats much of that abroad too.

Thanks for the link Bazza.

Now look what you've done Lloyd. Gone and told everyone.

Scotland's full of midges and tight-fisted types, it always rains, and all you can find to drink is Bells blended and Tennants Lagger.

I'll make an exception and do a ;-)

Please Marcus, keep being negative about midgies and tight fisted types, it might help discourage some folks and keep our hills relatively quiet and wild-ish.

btw,if I ever drink bells or tennents, just shoot me as I'm obviously just a tourist!!!

Well, with only seven Munros to go, one side my Harveys wallchart is currently sporting a sort of daygo(highlighter)yellow hue. However, with all those Corbetts, Donalds and Grahams, the rest of it looks a bit bare.

Frank, if I have the Islay malt and a pint of Deuchers, can I still have a blonde (it won't matter if she doesn't come from Arran!!
