there is a wall in bristol and a better one in Gloster now u have ure driving license (about an hour up the M5). Both me and Jules are available for climbing there!

The one in Bristol is still good but made of ply wood rather than the coutoured stuff so the holds are more likely to spin - good bouldering area if you are there on your own tho. If you contact Bath uni mountaineering club (bumc.org.uk)there may be some climbing students who are staying in bath for the summer.

well I could always nip up the M5 I suppose, and it would give the car a good run as well

Llangorse is an easy route too - take an hour from chelt and about 90mins from Bath (in good traffic) or, if you don't mind going a bit futher afield, the welsh international centre is fantastic (and is apparently the cheapest climbing wall per square metre!)

It may be cheap per square metre but it's huge.

Work it out

stuey, lol, i know - i got there quite a lot! That was just a random stat i remember for somewhere! Thing is, I can't GET to at least half of the wall space which therefore 'doubles' the price per square metre - still a nice statistic tho!!

TY
makes a welcome break from having to do process parts of claims by hand cos the system has one of its regualar fits!

I would be very much up for a regular climbing session one I have some rock boots and harness. After the hiring ones at Uni...never again!

I guess the plywood one would be Undercover rock at St wurburghs <spelling?> church. It is a ok wall with a variety of routes but yes it is all flat ply with the odd overhang, with some inserts to act as pockets et al.. I would although go the extra distance and go to the WICC at Trelewis Far better and superior in my opinion.
