eccentric, yes, but fairly harmless. he brings a smile to peoples faces and that has got to be a bonus in todays current climate.

Where's the problem? He's just travelling life's road in his own way, doing no harm to anyone.

As a society we have far greater problems to consider.

I can't see the problem, at the moment it's nice to see a lighthearted news story.

I think there are one or two other things that are more important at the moment.

The only prob i see is sunbutn in an uncomfortable places :p
But hey whats the prob. I don't see any problem with him walking naked, he hasn't got anything we all haven't seen before. He might be mad as a hatter but considering todays current climate and the current affairs going on. it is completly harmless and a bit of a laugh. At the end of the day So what?

I agree there is something humorous about Steve Gough's crusade, and yes there are more important things to think about - and I'm sure even Steve will think he's succeeded when no-one cares any more - but what he's doing isn't a joke, it's important.

This poor man's been beaten up and thrown into jail, even been subjected to a pyschiatric examination, just because he's gone for a walk in the nude.

He isn't mad, it's us that are mad if we think he's dangerous.

Good luck to Steve and his friends, who have more courage than most of us.

Funny the first time round, he made his point as well. Now it's like telling the same joke twice, and as we all got it the first time why tell it again?

I can see his point but surely it's a slippery slope, if you allow people to wander around the countryside naked the next thing is them doing the same in town. Can you imagine the average town center on a Saturday night if it was legal to take all your clothes off?

The next thing you know there'll be naked people in the hills, prompting outraged OM'ers to bemoan about poorly equipped people loose on the fells! ;¬(

There were naked people in the duck pond in Moreton-in-Marsh last easter. Nothing to do with me, we'd been out doing some night nav practice and were walking back to the campsite.

Leave him alone.

Nah at worst he's got sunburn and horse fly bites where he wouldn't want 'em. Compared to that being an eccentric doesn't even count
