Zinio is a bit cool, the pages turn like in real life.

Well, almost ;o)
You can download the software from Zinio IIRC.

It seems great, so far. It's even possible to highlight bits, and/or add notes.

I've not read it all yet, but will return to it in the morning.

Recommended :-)

The Doctor:

The software should be pre-installed with Macs less than (I'd guess) a couple of years old... ironically it seems the Macs we use in the TGO office can't run it (they're pre 1870s models and the hard disc only runs at 78rpm)!

Peewiglet - please keep reporting on your progress!

I've finished it now, and I'm very pleased with it. It's easy to read and to navigate; to zoom in on bits to make them clearer, and then to whizz back out to normal size. It's also possible to search the magazine for a single word (or maybe a phrase - I've not tried that yet), and it returns an answer quickly. Added to that, it's possible to add notes and highlighting to the text. Emails etc are all clickable links.

I like it a lot. I'm a bit disorganised sometimes with my paper copy - i.e. I sometimes lose it... - but this'll be a useful, searchable archive on my PC.

Well done TGO: this seems to me to be a great idea :-)
