I've got 2 eVENT shells that I want to mark with my initials so that they're indentifiable if nicked. I was thinking of using a whacking great big permanent marker-pen to put my initials on the sleeves. Does anybody know if eVENT is affected by solvents found in these pens?
(Both shells are nylon-faced, one is 2-layer and the other is 3-layer.)

The eVENT membrane, being PTFE, will be resistant to just about anything you care to throw at it.

The laminating adhesive might be briefly bothered by the solvent, but, frankly, the amounts present in marker pen writing are so tiny, and their presence so fleeting, that I doubt if any ill-effect would be caused.
