Hi

Just recieved a Mountain Equipment Sleepwalker 500 for christmas, but, after spending a night in it (indoors) and being cold thought I'd better check what its rated for.
Looking at the ME site, mine seems to be a colour that dosent exist & much thinner (less stuffing).

Am I worying unnecesarily or do I have a ringer / half filled bag?
I guess, being a 3 season down bag I expected to roast indoors, or am I expecting too much?

Roger

Do you mean Dreamcatcher? Sleepwalkers are called 1, 2 or 3 and aren't down.

The Dream 500 is rated at comfort -5, same as my Sleepy 2.
I always found that it wasn't anywhere as warm as claimed and don't use it any more but some people love their ME bags.

Doh,
You are correct I mean Dreamcatcher, but had been looking at sleepwalker because that was the closest (colour wise) I could find to what I have.

Must have been still asleep when I wrote that (thats what being cold at night does for you).

I can't comment on the Dreamcatcher but I used to own a Sleepwalker 2.I had read great reviews about this bag but was very disappointed by its performance.I now own 2 Marmot Down bags.In my opinion Marmot are one of the best but very expensive.
