Need help buying a rucksack

Am looking to buy a rucksack for backpacking round Europe with comfort and durability being the main priorities. Naturally price is important, but I am prepared to pay for something which will last for a number of years.

After doing some preliminary searching, I have narrowed it down to these three choices. (Links below) To the uninitiated such as myself they appear to be quite similar. However I expect that people with greater expertise would be better qualified to judge. Which would you advise and why?

Cheers in advance for your help.
Phil

ive just ordered a berghaus c7 pro series, tried lots of rucksacks on and found it the most comfy.

rrp is 180 but it can be found a good £50 cheaper on the net including postage!

its not the lightest pack in the world but then neither was the macpac glissade that i looked at and that my mate has also considered the osprey aether 70 but someting just didnt feel right with it

cant wait til it arrives

None of those packs are particularly bad from my experience of them (must admit, that Vango looks newer than the ones I've played with though). I like the Lowe Alpine ones normally though that Berghaus pack is pretty similar to it anyway.

I personally have the Osprey Aether 70- it's about £130 usually but I find it completely functional and it fits well, especially with the custom moulded hipbelt. Plus it's a bit lighter than the ones you've picked out. I find it pretty comfortable for carrying loads up to about 17kg, and im quite small.

Just my two cents.

Cheers for your input guys. Just wanted to ask: the bags that I linked to were averaging at around £75, but your suggestions have been another £50ish on top. Would I really feel the benefit of this extra spend?

Once again, thanks in advance for your replys.
Phil
