I’m looking for a 2 person backpacking tent that I can also use as a solo tent.
Over weeks of hand wringing, my mind was made up and I was going for the TN Laserlarge 1, I thought the extra space would make things a bit easier when sharing the tent.
However, the guys in the shop have almost swayed me to go for the voyager superlight. Selling its stability & ease of pitching.
I still prefer the laserlarge for its size/weight ratio and the fact the fly and inner pitches together…..but put off by claims it’s difficult to pitch if its rocky. Where as the voyager is free standing and so more stable it’s less critical to get good peg placements for all pegs.
Is this an issue?
Anybody any thoughts on the laserlarge 1 for a wild camping 3 season tent?
Thanks
Gavin
