Re proofing a tent

I've an old Vango Hurricane Alpha that I was planning on lending to a friend for a couple of nights in the lakes. It's been in it's stuff sack for the majority of the last 10 years and the waterproof backing has come away from the nylon in places. After half an hour in constant but not heavy rain last night with little wind it was leaking in a number of places.

I'm looking to re-proof it, probably just for this trip as it's well past it's best. Can anyone recommend a product I can do this with, it needs to be able to stand up to the worst the Lakes can throw at it for a couple of nights after.

Thanks in advance.

John

Fabsil is meant to be pretty decent.

Cheers for that Mountain Cat, I'll be off to purchase some this lunch time.

Upon checking and sealing the seams last night, I discover two small patches that have been very well sewn onto the flysheet, upon further investigation I discover that one of the clips is missing from the tension band system. It would also seem that as I've never seperated the fly from the inner that some b*st*ard has swopped their old crappy fly sheet with mine some time in the past.

It would seem that in my stupidity of lending this tent out to on four or five occassions, once to a group of foreign students who asked if they could camp at our place (which does have a bit of land and footpath runs through it) and did we have a spare tent as they were a little cramped the night before, I've been taken advantage of.

I'm not having a go at foreigners by the way, just students ;-)

Rant over and relax
