Does anyone make any?

I've got a pair of Outdoor Designs Windstopper shell gloves which are good but they're not very waterproof.

I actually want them for MTBing. I have fave MTB gloves which are really comfy but just not suited to winter. I've tried some winter bike gloves but they are more like ski gloves and far too think for my liking.

Hence my thinking is to use my fave gloves and get a waterproof/windproof shell for extra warmth.

Recommendations would be great...

Chris.

Extremeties Tuff Bags are one option. I think Outdoor Research, Outdoor Designs and maybe Berghaus do something similar. In fact Outdoor Designs have a huge range of mitts and gloves, though they seem to have switched to Event. Extremities have loads of Goretex possibilites. And I forgot Trekmates. I've used both the Tuff bags and some now obsolete OD fingered gloves with a grippy palm. I would have thought for mountain biking a fingered glove would be better because you retain more dexterity. The paclite mitts are useful because they are light and can be layered. Long well fitting cuffs would help keep you warm and dry.

Chris,

I have a pair of summitmitt pro and they have kept my hands warm and dry in very wet and cold conditions. If your hands get cold you can change the inner for a warmer one, however I felt the need.
