ok chaps

need a new large sack and i like the berghaus packs

looking on the tiso site ive come to either the c7 2 series

or the c7 pro series

the one above was 180 compared to the other but i dont just want to get it for that reason ! so seeking help ! lol

i have a c7 pro which i got for just under £130.

i love it to bits, it swallows gear like there is no tomorrow, has loads of pockets, the detachable pocket on the front comes in handy and above all its really really comfortable.

If you can get it for £99 id go for it to be honest. It has a few more features like being more water resistant and is also made from a tougher material (or at least i think it is)

hi ben i think i got mine from post free outdoor gear although it was quite a while back now so it may be a bit cheaper or maybe even more expensive.

i got them to order me the orange one as i felt like a change from the usual colours lol

ideal thanks mate ! only thing is that the picture is differnt than the one on the berghaus site ? any ideas ?

how do u find it performs ? and is it worth the money ?

yeah that looks like a slightly newer model i think the main change was they changed the shape of the rods in the back (there was an article on here about it a while back)

it looks like they have changed the design of the front detachable pocket too.

they have also added the new bergbuckle which is on my other halfs day pack and i dont like it ast its too fiddly but then she loves it so its all personal oppinion.

Also found it for £99 at http://www.craigdonmountainsports.com/ but only in blue...personally id buy it as for less than a hundred quid its a steal

it might be worth dropping berghaus a line and asking them what the differences are.

ps just checked the berghaus site and from what i can see the only new features are

# New improved Bioflex® back system.
# New detachable front panel converts into mini daypack with hydration reservoir pocket.
#Bergbuckle
#Height adjustable, detachable lid allows weight to be stripped down.

AS on mine i know the front panel detatches but thats about it...i tend to leave it on as the waterproof side is good for storing food and the mesh side is good for drying gear in lol

The difference in bioflex i think is the rods and that they have joined the shoulder pads up as on mine they are seperate.

the bergbuckle is hard to describe but its not the standard clip in buckle like on most sacks.

Finally mine doesnt have a floating lid...its adjustable but not completely removable
