Hello all and hope your all well.
A wee dilema here and hope you guys can give me a bit of guidance???

If you had the Mountain Hardwear Trango 3.1 and the North Face Fortress 23 in front of you and you had to choose only 1 for yourself...which one would it be and why?

Got the chance of either and would like my fellow OMs to help me out.

Thank's in advance.

Hermit.

trango, at least you can pitch it inner only. And its a better tent TBH.

Has any one seen a TNF F'tress 23 on everest lately?

The TNF F33 is a good tent for sure, but any tunnel tent is only as good as the guylines/pegs holding it up. Once they fail (usually in strong winds) the integrity of the tent is comprimised unlike a self supporting ie semi or full geo.this is why you should buy a trango and why you should carefully consider tunnel tents notice the full geo's in the back ground not really moving. The tunnel tent BTW is a keron 4 i believe from hilleberg getting slaughtered while the geos are a TNF Mnt 25 and a Fairydown plateau

Drew

p.s If you want some pics/video of any of my geo's getting hit by 60mph+ winds just email me. would be interested if anyone who owns a 4 season tunnel tent to do the same for me.
