Is this tent suitable for 1 person and a largish springer spaniel?

Also is it worth getting the floor for the tent or is it better just using a lightweight ground sheet?

We at Hike-Lite have sold the Hex3 to cyclists with bikes before now so I am sure you would be OK with your dog. I use it for an adult with 2 kids.

The inner is most useful if you want to keep bugs out. But if this is not important and you want to keep the weight down then a ground sheet of your own would be fine.

The Golite Hex is my winter tent, yes indeed it will hold one man and his dog in comfort. being only used in winter I find no need for all the extra bits and stay to a light ground sheet. Gosh, now there is a thought, a nice warm dog for those winter nights!!!

Loads of space in the Hex for an adult and dog or a couple of adults.

Here's a link to some pics from Bob's excellent site.

I got a deal on mine, when it was on special offer, from James at One Outdoors.
