Hello

I'm after some advice from you all. We have decided to get a GPS unit and have settled on the Garmin Etrex Legend CX but we are now unsure where to buy it.

In the shops it seems to be available for £250 but there's a couple of places on the web where it's cheaper but I haven't heard of them and so would like to hear if anyone has had any experiences of them.

One is Hitch N Hike (http://w01-0504.web.dircon.net/acatalog/index.html) in the Peak District. The other is www.gps4less.co.uk.

Has anyone here used either of them? Were they quick? Reliable? Does anyone want to recommend anywhere else?

I always like to be careful buying online from retailers I haven't heard of so I would be really grateful for some advice.

Thanks

I haven't used either of those suppliers, but I recently bought a car satnav from handtec (www.handtec.co.uk), who were very efficient and delivered next day with no problems at all. They have the Garmin Etrex Legend CX for £179.97.

Good luck

£185 from Global positioning systems I've used them many times and always had excellent service.

Handtec also have a good reputation.

I haven't bought GPS equipment from Hitch 'n' Hike but do use them regularly for other equipment and never had any problems with them.

As from Dave,

I've used Global postioning systems in the past and found the prices very competetive.
