Not sure how to delicately put this so I guess I'll just be straightforward. I'm looking for some smug fitting boxer shorts like the lowe alpine dry fit or Helly Hensen seamless ones. I want a pair that will keep 'everything' in their rightful place while I walk and having looked online I can't tell if the two I've referenced would suit or if they are a looser fit? I've purchased some in the past from Rohan which are very quick at drying etc but they are far too baggy for extended use. Anyone bought any of these and able to enlighten me?

Ta,

i found the medium lowe alpine ones very snug, so much so i had to change them for large after my feet turned blue.

Please tell me you meant snug and not smug. Smug underwear, how would that look? Yes, look at my contents said the pants with a cheesy grin...

Anyway, I wear Smartwool Featherweight Boxers and Icebreaker Skin 200 Boxers and both are a slim fit. I buy a size down from most of my kit (M instead of L) to account for the bit of stretch that merino has after wearing.
Works well, keeps you fresher than synthetics and chaffe free.

LOL! Yes :) I meant snug, sorry it's been a long day!

Thanks, I'll have a look for both of those.

The Icebreaker merino boxers are excellent, snug without being tight, warm when it's cold, cool-ish when it's hot. Pricey at 30 odd quid but worth it. Make sure clothes moths can't get at them.

By the way, the new season ones are different. They're much higher waisted, I like the current ones better.

Icebreaker boxers that is.

P****o's boxers are very good. Comfy, good wickers and a nice snug fit.

Absolutely, unless you enjoy Betty Swallocks.

As long as it's not knickers made from wicker. That would chafe. A lot.

If you can track them down you could try Buffalo's Pertex knickers. They wick AND chafe! Ahhhh! The memories that brings back. Ah! Oooh! Ah!

I have some helly hansen briefs and the LIFA is not very stretchy (there's no lycra in there for good reason... it holds moisture). If you want snug fit, try SubZero All Active under-shorts available here . They are a fine tactel nylon which has a fairly high elasticity.

Odlo are good - got mine from planetfear.com

Anyone know of anywhere on-line that is selling the Icebreaker boxer shorts? Everyone seems to be out of stock, I've tried Ellis Brigham and a few others with no success. The only ones I can get are the TNF ones but they are a bit too heavy and the Helly Hensen which I'm not too keen on.

I always use Run79, Tony.

Yes, believe me, if I could have edited it back to snug, I would have.
