Does anyone have any idears about the two big airvents at the top. I have thought of velcroing the windwood side of the tent.

The more ventilation, the less condensation. Especially in plastic tents during winter/dampness. Peg the side against the wind fully to the ground, but not all the way so that you stop the airflow.

Used it for the first time this day, and stayed bone dry, 10c, damp air.

Since it has no side vents I wonder how it will perform in winter.

As Ronald Turnbull says: "Shiver or drip"

i used it the other day and i the weather was wet and windy. I have the nest aswell and while in the tent the wind was driving the rain though the vent and my sleeping bag and face got quite wet . Next time iam goin to take a bivvy to keep me dry.

Hmmm.. The beak is too small on the outside vents without beeing able to shut them from the inside.

Patching velcro on the vent mesh and a piece of sil nylon seems a solution without piercing the outher fabric.

Hows your seams holding up in wet weather?
