Is it any good? Just seen them on sale for £49.00 (apparently reduced from £170), boasts what is called 'Entrant V' fabric. Can't find much else that has been made with it but the science seems to hold up. Thanks, G.
Montane use Entrant in their waterproof jackets but they call it Entrant DT.

It's rubbish, don'y buy it. It's not really "karrimor" either, it's generic far eastern tat with a logo sewn on. It was never £170 in it's life .

Thanks Pete, I had a feeling that that might be the case. Unsurprisingly I might have to spend more than £50 on a quality trekking jacket!

You'll get a last years Montane SuperFly for not much more than £50. Deals all over, or a sample from their factory shop (contact details on their website) of the new version for £70.

Spend wisely

These Karrimor "bargains" seem to be all over the place, yet you never see any of these wonderful products at full price. Be interesting to know if anybody has ever reported the sellers to Trading Standards, because these items really are a rip-off.

Entrant is a range of fabrics made by Toray

They are used by many manufacturers (including decent names), often under 'own brand' names.
