For two people camping should I go for the 25 or the 27?

And, can you use a small espresso maker(3 cup) on the trangia ?

Thanks

ive got the 27-1 which is certainly good for 1 and 1/2 peeps, ive got a new 25-2 (they say 3/4 peeps but 2 would be fine its alittle larger 1200gs there abouts and it comes with a kettle hehe) in the classifieds on here if its what your after. its probably as cheap as the smaller one too.

If you're sure that you're regularly going to be two people, then I'd go for the 25. Cooking for two on the 27 is a bit of a squeeze, especially when cooking carbs such as pasta.

You might consider the Lidl Trangia clone when it comes on sale again; it's a clone of the 25, apart from the pan support mechanism.

The 25 is probably better for your needs if you are not too weight worried!

The kettle is spot on alowing you to heat water after you made a meal but before you clean the pans.  Great if you want to eat nice meals.

The gas conversion kit for the Trangia transforms what is already a very stable, well shielded and safe stove into one that is also very fast and efficient.

I'm not sure you'll have much luck with your espresso pot though; the pans are supported at the outside edge of their base, so unless your espresso pot has a similar diameter base to the kettle, it will just fall in!

Thanks for the replies, I reckon I'll look for a 25
