I'm thinking of getting a pair of decent trousers that'll do everything from dog walking, to hill walking. And I like cargo or thigh/leg pockets, preferably ones that'll cope with more than a credit card.

I was looking at PTC*'s website and liked the look of theHaglofs Rugged Mountain Pant which are due out in "Spring 2008". But when exactly is this? I have 4 weeks before what ever I get is going to be required and used/abused in anger...

So anyone know the actual in-the-shops date?

Aye that's spot on, the Rugged Pant should be in stores about now. You might have to wait until the shops shift the sale stock before you see a pair though.

They are great pants. I've worn them a lot over the last couple of months and they're pretty much my favourites for most stuff.
