 Hi
I was looking for a new tent one person possible two at a squeeze. Depending on how I feel at the time . What is the best one man lightweight tent? Money isnt really a barrier, but I would just love something substantial but not too weighty. I have a tent - Vango Micro 100 but I find the pole very sticky in the sleeve and I really would likesomething a bit more sturdy to sleep with. Thanks Hilda.

Ooooo is that a soulo? Somebody told me there was man with a soulo on here

How about one of those inflatable tents? A quick blow and they are up like a shot.

I would recommend a Crux Bomb. (not) One gentle blow and you are completely shagged.....

 |
Any tent should do you fine, as long as you like the look and feel of it. The challenge you will have is keeping the poles upright. After one attempt at erecting the thing most women give it up and go to sleep less than impressed. You need more practice handling the poles, so that even if collapsed, they can be teased to full performance again, and again... Giving you a sound nights sleep.

Hi PD, Well you have quite alot to choose from. May I suggest you have a look at Lightwave, Marmot and Helsport Drew

I think a quick errection is needed here, so it has to be Kyham. Its got an enormous bell end , Ideal for emptying your sack into...

wheres that bloke with a massive tent pole?.............I'm sure he'll have some input
|
 |
Now then Bigbananafeet, it's not really massive, just big! Like they said above, it's all about quick erections. If your pole is proving too sticky, Hilda, may I suggest employing a box of tissues. If you're having trouble sliding it through the sleeve, have you considered any sort of lube? Your best bet is to jack off the small tent and get a really big one. Mine has central heating, several wings and a wine cellar. That gives plenty of room for rolling around. I do know what I'm talking about.
|
 |
Well you know what they say, The bigger the tent - the smaller the dick.
My oh my, that is a huge tent you have what with the wine celler and all..... But thanks for the advice Bloke with big tentpole. Do you mind if I call you 'Wee willie winkie'?

When trying to find the right tent............the flap size has always been a problem. Its important to have enough room to to be comfortable in the inner chamber, but still be able to get your sack safely secured behind the outer flaps. Im sure many OMers have had similar problems. I guess a lot depends on sack size......

I have a tent made for me by a Rabbi friend, using the bits left over from circumcisions. Packs down quite small, but a quick rub & it magically enlarges. Self erecting too; no poles needed. Does quite well in a good blow. Not so much a two-man tent as a few-hundred-bits-of-little-boys tent. Interested?

Sounds like your tent is a cut above the rest Chairman Bill!

I also had a friend who slide his pole into the wrong sleeve by mistake. Due to his lack of experience he unfortunatley ripped the inner sleeve. Needless to say he and his partner had an uncomfortable nights sleep. I told him he should get more practice and this kind of thing wouldnt happen, especially when pitching in the dark.

Sounds like your tent is a cut above the rest Chairman Bill! A bargain too. In fact it was a snip

As Swiss Tony might say ''Putting up a tent, is... very much like making love to a beautiful woman. You rent her, unzip the door, put up your pole an'... slip in to the old bag.''

call me a sentamentalist but I like my tents like my women, I just love it when they go down on me when i am least expecting it.......

I remember the problem i had with my old tent. I could never get in no matter how much i tried. Getting it into shape was never a problem, but getting in was the thing. I would tug and tug at the flaps to get them open, holding them firmly in one hand then sliding the other up the seem didnt help. With my new tent no of these problems occured. My partner explained to me that i should gently caress the opening, working the full length to get the best results. A lesson for us all.............

i had a similar problem as yourself, now i have a great new tent with entrances front and back...... get for a rainy day
