Hi

Like Johan I'm doing some research for my Industrial Design degree and was wondering if you could follow the link and fill out the quick questionnaire (mostly ticking boxes). I'm looking into the relationship between load carriage and injuries in soldiers and want to see if recreational rucksack users encounter similar problems. Any help would be great.

Thanks for your time.

For question 2 Ive answered never as my pack weight has been under 10kgs for a long time now. I do carry my pack at least every month but its usually about 7-8kg

SO which of my rucksacks was I meant ot be answering the questions about?

Very basic survey, not very specific really, but I've tried to answer for all the rucksacs I have ever owned in the last twenty years or so as bestas could do, more than for any specific individual one I now own.

Yeah hard to answer properly , rucksacks are horses for courses , and the injuries are as much to do with distance walked , in what  conditions, weight carried , and could be caused by other kit  faults  anyway. All very vague .

Ta for the opinions. The survey is a complimentary one to a military survey that has already been carried out. For that one the questions are more specific as most soldiers use the same standard issue bergen which obviously recreational users do not. I simply wanted to use this basic survey to have something with which to compare their answers. Thanks for all your replies.
