I couldn't find a thread so I started one.  Post things you have lost and hopefully by checking this thread you can find it!

First item:  Watch found between Beardown and Great Miss - by the boundary on Dartmoor this weekend.

I found an aluminium case with camera memory cards in it last wednesday, top of Whernside in the snow...

A dedicated lost and found thread, so lost things appeals don't get lost in the sea of other threads, a fine outstanding idea there Thomas! Well done sir, a bit of sound good logical thinking there indeed!

Camera found on Dartmoor

About 200m east of Hare Tor on Sunday. *Very* wet and with rust appearing on screws, appeared to have been there at least overnight and possibly longer. Not working, but may do when dried out or could just be flat battery.

If you've lost one in the area, get in touch with a description of the camera and case.

http://www.outdoorsmagic.com/forum/forummessages.asp?URN=2&UTN=22004&SP=&cp=1&V=8&msg=6  Hugh found a missing storm shelter on Dartmoor, and reported it here at this thread today as a found item. Is it yours? Or if you have lost one recently then check out the link here.

I lost a Silva sighting compass ( the type with a sighting prism on the dial ) having mistakenly dropped off High Raise towards stake Pass / Langstrath,  taking a bearing I headed back south easterly around the tributaries of Stake Beck up towards Thunacar Knott. If by chance anyone walking such a crazy route stumbles upon it I would be pleased if they could contact me. /forum/smilies/tongue_out_smiley.gif[/img].bennett@hallconstruction.uk.com]p.bennett@hallconstruction.uk.com

If folks find it they can pm - or personal mail - you through the OM website here too, by simply clicking on your name in the blue bar of your post above, as well.

Edit - Whoops, just checked and you'd need to activate that member function on here first of all, as you seem to have it disabled right now I can see! It is a very safe and secure service for OM'ers to make use of, so don't worry about getting spammed or anything. It is a most worthwhile function to have activated I do feel.

I lost an Olympus OM1 with a Tokina zoom lens on Creag Meagaidh (approx NN 45840 88467) overlooking Aberarder Farm about 15 years ago.

Do you still want it back all this time later on now then, RM?

LOL, not sure Trevor, every time I pass that way I think it's probably still up there. Assuming it's still there it would be in terrible condition.

I'd put it in a display case if I ever found it
