Hi All, quick query: after much research I've narrowed down my likely bivvy choice to a RAB Assault. It's 2.5m long which is an essential requirement for me. However, has anyone used on of these in anger? Any thoughts / reviews / comments much appreciated.

 The Terra Nova Discovery was another option but doesn't come in any longer than 2.2m.

My Big Agnes Bivvy is 2.3m and I get get all my gear in with me, but I'm only six foot. It's a better bag than the Rab though. Are you afflicted by a mightly tallness?

At 6ft 5 I am blessed with tallness! The other road would be a bespoke one I suppose but costly (and it's not as if RAB make cr*p) or an ex-army job but still have nightmares about using those in the past....

Have just located a bargain Assault at Tower Ridge...
