Hi, im after an omm chest pouch, the 4l jobbie that fits the omm sacks. They are out of stock over most of UK. If you have one you dont use, or know of where there is one in stock. PLease reply. Glenn

Cheers CB, you may not have noticed, but I missed that one by about 2 mins, not a happy bunny

Shame. I was tempted myself when I saw it yesterday.

I saw that too and thought about it but I've used an army gas mask bag slung round my neck at chest height and, to stop it bumping around, a carabiner attached to a loop at the bottom edge of the bag snapped onto one of the shoulder straps below the padded area.

Plenty big enough, true it doesn't have the map case the OMM pouch has but it has several partitions inside and a pocket outside just right for an etrex.

Are they out of stock at the Climbers Shop in Ambleside, Glenn? That's where I got mine a few weeks ago after everyone else had sold out.

I got one from the Climbers Shop too about a month ago.

A bit of a long shot but have you tried contacting OMM direct?

I have a brand new one, completely unused - seriously! Purchased from Needle Sports a month ago. It doesn't fit my OMM 25L running pack, which I bought it for.

The question is... are you willing to pay £300 for it, or swap it for a Force 10 Spindrift?

LOL. bet yours was one of them with the straps or d rings missing....cant see 300 quid in a lemon.

You all could try a Pete Bland Bumbag worn round the front - loads of space, light, compression straps, independant of your pack.

this might be a daft question so sorry - but i quite fancy one of these, and none of my sacks are OMM.  is it only compatible with OMM sacks, or is it kinda standard straps for all/most sacks?  cheers

The pouch connect to the rucksack straps via a left and right-side strip (which have clips to connect to the pouch and a velcro fastening loop for connection to rucksack) which loops through any suitable gap you can feed it through on the rucksack shoulder straps. It works fine on my berghaus freeflow but better on an OMM sack which feature appropriate traingular plastic clips to feed through on the rucksack shoulder strapping.

 This might explain it better!
