Viewranger Questions

I want OS 1:50,000 mapping on my N95 mobile phone and also on my laptop. I have older version of Memory Map on my laptop but know they don't yet do a Symbian version for mobiles just Windows Mobile PDA's and phones. I have the Viewranger demo on my phone and to say I'm impressed would be a major understatement. I don't want to fork out £150 for the Great Britain full version yet, but I am probably going to get the excellently priced National Parks version and a custom selected £20 one too. I have a few questions I need answering though...

Does anyone know of any mapping software that can be purchased which has 1:50,000 OS mapping on a PC and Symbian based mobile app where you only need buy one full GB map?

If I buy the National Parks viewranger and then purchase a Self Selected Map selection using the Map Chooser software ( great idea btw ) does the Self Selected Map simply come up as an option when I start Viewranger?

Some of you may know I post the mmo Memory Map route files on my website and have recently also started putting actual OS maps on my site, but I realise with there being so much more choice these days than just Memory map that it may be better to offer a more universal gps routing file, what is the most commonly used standard?

Does anyone know of anywhere that I can buy the GB viewranger for a batter price than £150 and does anyone happen to know any Coupon Codes for the Viewranger site?
