Hi,

I've been reccomended, looking at my needs, the sleepwalker UL...

This is because i sleep extremely hot and its light and small. The only problem is the 2007 model is £40 and the 2008 is £70, so i was wondering what the improvements are and is it worth the extra money....

My questions:

Is it worth the extra money for the 2008 rather than the 2007.

What improvements has the 2008 model got?

Does anyone know where i can get the sleepwalker ul xl 2008 model cheaper than £70 iuncluding P&P.

Thx a lot guys...

P.s. i haven't got long till i have to buy it to arrive intime for my trip so a quick reply would be helpful...

Almost a kilo is very heavy for a summer bag. If you sleep warm you can get by with a bag a lot lighter.

I've got a sleepwalker UL from a few years back if that's the same as 2007 spec compared to the one currently on the ME website, it's about 100g lighter, doesn't have the DWR finish, no fleece lined stuffsack that makes a pillow & no pocket.

A good alternative is the Mountain Hardwear lamina 45. Much lighter. Packs smaller .Still lots of room in it. I think around 60 pounds. Maybe cheaper. check out.

I had have the lamina 35 AND also the sleepwalker 2.  For comfort the sleepwalker is bigger and has more room. However, the lamina is also very comfortable and roomy.
