Since Jon mentioned a bit of Paramo gear being 'dated'  (sorry can't remember which bit, Horace)  every time i'm getting ready to go out I keep looking in the bloody mirror!

I know nobody wants to look a complete pill*ck but does it really matter?  I mean nobody's going to nudge their companion half way up Everest and say 'did you see the state of that blokes pants who just flew past?

PS  What green is that, then, Horace?

wear tilley hat. anything else you're wearing is cool in comparison.

the price of longevity is it looking dated.

Talking of Tilley hats reminds me of identical twins (blokes in their forties) who were in the next studio to me in Greece.

They wore them all the time and when I informed them of a decent Taverna they said: 'haven't you seen the pile of paperbacks in the foyer you can borrow?'

(don't bend the pages over like that, Horace)
