there is a sale in my city - this backpack for 100E.. looks interesting, but that belt system scares me!
i would like to hear more opinions about that quality/price ratio..
or if u have other suggestions for a backpack around 70L, up to 100E?

Berghaus stuff varies. Personally, i don't buy any because of quality control issues. I had a jacket fail on me years ago, and a friends Berghaus backpack started to fall apart on him, 2 days into a 9 day walk. I think a lot of people have complained about an annoying noise/squeak from that particular backpack.

It is a bit noisy but that doesn't bother everyone.

On the plus side it is a great load hauler, swallows tons of kit and is a great carry, thanks to the Bioflex system.  There were some manufacturing problems with some of the early models (the struts sometimes pulled out of the hipbelt) but I believe that these have been resolved.

I used to have one and it is a very good rucksack, if a bit on the heavy side.

BTW £100 is the normal going rate for the 65+10L - a genuine sale price should be £80.

Not light and a bit squeaky but a good rucksack (for Breghaus) best feature is the humble Berg buckle (nice invention)

Absolutely infuriating squeeeeeeeeeeeeek. Nothing like being out in the grandeur of Fisherfield being pursued by a squeak to set your teeth on edge.

Very comfy but very heavy

Can't wait to try the new 58L lightweight Osprey - then burn the Berghaus

I bought one last year and have to say I am personally very impressed, Yes it does squeek a little, but easily remedied with some teflon spray at the points where the metal bars touch the plastic.

I used mine on my first ever wild camp at red tarn at helvellyn and going via striding edge. I was apprehensive carrying all that weight and pack size initially but I can honestly say after 10 - 20 minutes walking I could hardly tell it was there. The Bioflex works really well. I also have a Osprey pack for daytrips which I absolutely love and I would say the bergaus is comparable build quality. If you can get it cheap I would personally recommend it.

There is nothing more annoying than walking behind someone with the squeky bioflex system. If you are prepared to walk 20m away from your group at all times then go for it!

At the end of the day its what fits best that counts...and if its at a bargain price then it makes it much better.
