looking for a Hiking pantner(s) im based in Shrewsbury have transport Im 43 not done much hiking in the last 5 years so well out of shape im pretty easygoing ( im happy to answer any questions just PM me)
im am getting around Church Stetton hills only at the mo due to traveling distance for other places and fuel costs ( im currently not working due to illness )
i have my own camping gear . lakes is 3 hrs ish so would want to go up friday night do a sat walk and travel back sunday. Snowdon or Peaks would go up Saturday morn Hike Sat maybe a small walk sunday travel back mid/late sunday afternoon

I've recently started walking (over the past year) after not doing so since my teens (used to fell walk, D of E etc..). I was over Church Stretton the other wk-end walking a bike route (recently bought a mountain bike) & love it round there.
The furthest I've been is Cadair Idris (just under 3000ft) & bit off a bit more than I could chew, as I did it on a whim & my legs were fecked for days , also been around Lake Vyrnwy & up the falls at Pystill, both great.
Must admit I'm not a camper (prefer my comfort, B&B's).
I live in Wolverhampton & like to get out most wk-ends, either walking/cycling or golfing. Drop me a line, happy to join a group if you've now sorted one.
