Want a pair of lightweight water proof/resistant overtrousers, for summer/spring showers (got my Cioch troos for the rest of the year), but in a short leg length (29" inside leg).
Need at least a knee lenth zip if not full, so they can be easily donned over boots. Anyone ever come across a pair off the peg or had some made and been particularly happy with the end result?
Oh and before anyone suggests shorts, I don't do exposed skin and sunshine or I very quickly turn into a walking pork scratching... <atchoooo>!

The Pakka overtrouser is fully waterproof, windproof and will also let out some of your condensation. They also are supplied with a little stuff sack and pack away to about the size of an apple.
I have some OMM Kamleika ones for summer. They are slim, stretchy and extremely comfortable. As breatheable as any other flavour and no rustling at all.
I'm a 28-29 inside leg and they are fine. Zip goes right up to me knees.
NPC, I probably wasn't clear about the fact that I'm also a 36" waist, hence the short fat hairy legs
I've fondled the Kamleika's and they are nice, but OMM assume, along with most other manufacturers, that those of us who've let the waist expand a little too much have also taken on the dimensions of a basket ball player, hence the Kamleika's with a 36" waist have a 34" inside leg!
