 just washed the clothes i wore when i went for a run yesterday. openned the washing machine and everything was covered in small bits of tissue paper. i had left a piece of tissue in the pocket omy t.n.f. fleece trousers. what a horrible mess !!! i,ve them on a spin cycle and hopefully all will be well. anyone else done something as stupid?.........or even worse ?

 My missus does that all the time, it don't half wind me up  She always forgets to check her pockets so car keys, house keys, credit cards have all been taken to the cleaners, so to speak. She even left her brand new £80 watch in a pocket last year............ was a hard way to find out it was only splash proof!!!!!

 Nails are good......well, good for trashing all the clothes in the machine anyway.

 Tumble drying (if the clothing permits) might be a solution the tumble and blowing removes the tissue paper catching it on the filter....

 A strange blue light was glowing in the washer last week, on a closer inspection I could see it was my brand new mobile phone.

I washed a new caridgan yesterday for the first time and it shrunk so much I found the reciept and took it back today to exchange it... apparently the lady said they do shrink but it irons out... Hmm not heard that one before.....

update..... after the rinse cycle there were some bits of tissue stuck to the troos..... i put them on the line for an hour or so and then on a low heat in the tumble..... they are ok now. lesson learnt... check for tissues or ....... leave the washing to the mrs...... ( loud slap to back of ear !!!!!!!!!!).

.jpg) Mrs RaR's Petzl Tikka plus went round in the washer once - it still works. After I do the washing and a tissue comes out of the wash, Mrs RaR always says "did you check the pockets" ? My reply is always "yes, when I took my clothes off, did you"?

 The only washing I do now is blacks or coloured (sounds like South Africa!) however my ex's definition of 'white's' got me into so much trouble......

 ...You then have to shake all the clothes before you hang them up AND THEN vacuum the carpet afterwards AND THEN the ensuing argument...it all becomes frighteningly inconvenient!...
