I'm looking for a new waterproof for my 5 year old girl. Now my wife has given me instructions on what it needs to be like. Mostly it cannot be black or navy blue. So that leaves the normal reds and purples and light blues etc.
It does not need to be able to zip in a fleece as we're going into the summer months.
Has anyone bought one from a good retailer lately or any suggestions of one that they know of that might fit the bill. If you know a website then the address would be good.
As its going to be used most days to school also, and that it gets thrown around a bit something in the region of £25 would be good.
my 5yr old has two Regattas, one a 2in1 for winter and a lightweight shell for spring/summer. The fit is fine on both althought the 2in1 is a bit big for her, (it'll be fine when she grows into it ).
The problem with both however is the hoods are pretty useless she has a wooly hat underneath to hold it on or she holds it. Waterproof wise, she's never been wet. Both jackets washed in soap flakes with occassional TX Direct.
My eldest (age 6) has baselayers, waterproof boots, waterproof jacket (Forclaz 500), zip-off trousers, socks, fleeces all from there. Very decent quality for the price.

Try Trespass or Keela simpson Both ideal allthough Keela a tad more expensive especially when kids grow so fast. My Boys love theirs, they even use them for school so they have to be tough to stand up to the abuse they get.
