Our city center will hold a football game and my son like football very much. So, I want to choose the best binoculars for my son to watch the football game. Therefore I try my best to search many magnifications that I like. Which one I could get ?   Canon 8x42, Bushnell 8x40 and Eyeskey 8x30.

What? Where will you be watching the football from?

I wouldn't think watching football through binos would be a particularly rewarding experience; I can't believe that tracking the ball/play would be easy. If you have to use binoculars though, the most important requirement would be a wide field of view, I would have thought.

The only current Bushnell 8x40 that I know is the Permafocus. I would stay away from any "in focus" or "permafocus" binos...
I do not know of a Canon 8x42
As for the other brand I never heard of it , neither they look familiar (I sold binos for 30 years...) but a quick search on the net reveal similar posts to this tha appear to be promos for the product...

Best binos to watch football with?

The ones that make the game look as far away as possible, in fact sooo far away that I can niether see it, hear it or have to put up with the crazed nonsense that goes with it.

(and...if Franco is correct, the OP can go there too)

Judging by the current standards being shown at the world cup, ones you can look through from the wrong end would be best.

Please dont delete this thread....

I cant work out what is funnier - the spammers thinking peddling binos for watching footie here or the spammer  not realising he/she/it is having the pish well and truely extracted!

oh this thread is funny- However I ended up here because my older mum cant see her grandson on the field at the S.C.G and I thought binoculars might be the way to go for her. She just needs to track him ..
