Hey guys, im going to Langdale, Scafell pike next month. Gonna stay at a site but im wanting to do a 1 night wild camp, and i was wondering if you any of you had any good routes for around there?
Humm. Sorry to sound fractionally sarcastic but there's certainly nothing even approaching a shortage of good routes round there!
Decide how far you want to walk over the two days, open map, plot route to taste, follow route. Easy life (or if the weather has turned by then wander down a bunch of the valleys.).
Certainly got to decide if you're wild camping for its own sake - in which case popping up the langdale pikes one evening would be rational or if you want to use it to do a long walk.
In the latter case you've got at least 20 hours of daylight available to you so 'everything' suddenly becomes a little less mad....
(head out and back round the tops on one of the big valleys perhaps.).
(or if the weather has turned by then wander down a bunch of the valleys.).
