Evening everyone,

So I've recently got myself a Reactor stove and while I think it performs well I'm struggling to pack it together properly. When I follow the instructions to place the burner in the bottom of the pan with the canister on top the very top of the canister just very slightly protrudes from the top of the pot, meaning the lid will not fit down.

The canister is a MSR butane propane mix that the shop sent in the post. I can only think that the design of canister has changed in recent times and this is an old canister? the canister says 220g or 396ml on it which corresponds to other reviewers canisters (theirs seems to fit fine).

Sooooo in short gas canister is raised one or two millimeters from top of pan and apparently this size canister should sit about 5mm lower than flush.

Anyone own a Reactor and have this problem or anyone know about canisters that are maybe slightly smaller in height but around the same contents?

I've only used Primus gas carts with mine but it depends on how you pack it, burner goes in 1st right way up with the cannister on top. 

I've got a Coleman 250 in mine, packed the same way as R Mac's...

When I place the canister on top of the stove it sits right on the lip of the stove. So the the base edge of the canister is the same size as the stove. I feel if it was slightly wider then the stove would fit further into the bottom of the gas. Is this the same for you?

edit: Kind of like when you stack two beer cans together using the tops of the cans instead of normal top into bottom stacking... hard to explain!!
