Weevil and I have booked Bryn Brethynau Climbing Barn in Snowdonia, at Pont Cyfyng on A5 between Capel Curig and Betws -y-Coed for the weekend of 24/25 Feb 2012Roll up, roll up, come and join us at a bargain price of only £10 for 2 nights stay (price includes logs for wood burning stove and donation to Ogwen mountain rescue).Billions of options for walking, for all abilities, Carneddau, Glyders, Snowdon – the World’s our oyster!Climbing Barn:
  • Beautifully secluded location with wonderful mountain views and yet only 5 minutes walk from the Tyn Y Coed Pub and A5 lay-by (GR: SH 737572)
  • Can accommodate up to 30 in three rooms (8, 12 and 10)
  • The kitchen has been extensively refurbished & is equipped with gas hobs, microwave, large fridge, oven, hot water and stainless steel worktops.
  • Washroom has been extensively refurbished and has a hot shower/flush toilets.
  • Lounge area has bench seating and a wood-burning stove.
  • Newly fitted fire doors and fire detection system
  • Ooops sorry but NO PETS

Won't be able to make this, got too many other things on in Feb & March with leave already booked. Realistically it's not feasible to travel to Wales for a weekend from our part of Scotlandshire
