Etrex Summit Question
How can I display my current position on the main page?

I have recently purchased an Etrex Summit GPS for use as a backup. I was impressed by seeing an older Garmin GPS 12 (or something like that) that had a nice simple screen showing the recent path, current position and speed and a few other things.

What I want to know is how do I get my nice new Etrex Summit to display the current OS position on the main page? What I want to be able to do is pull it out my pocket, glance at it, and see the 6 fig reference so I can then compare that with where I think I am.

At the moment the only way I can find to do this is to add a waypoint. On the confirm screen it gives the position at the bottom of the screen. This is clearly a pain especially since this is all I really want from my GPS. Ocasionally I download a route from a computer onto the GPS but normally I just want it to tell me where I am!

Thanks in advance for any ideas,

Alex

PS - in response to a previous poster I imported my GPS from America from ebay, saving myself about £100 off RRP including delivery.
