Hi folks,
I randomly picked up a pair of Salomon Pro Sticky Mids from an Adidas outlet store for £28(!) the other day - couldn't resist even though I know reviews haven't all been great.
Anyway, they're about 1/4 to 1/2 a size smaller than my walking and mountain boots, and although very comfortable bouncing round my living room, I can feel my big toe slightly against the end of the boot when I walk.
It occurs to me that the close fit might actually be an advantage on higher grade scrambles etc, or am I just going to get sore toes?
I already have footwear for most other occasions, so could justify keeping these solely for dry weather scrambling if it came to it.
Any thoughts?
Cheers,
Max
